ABOUT THE AWARDS:

A little bit about the Awards and how they began...Well, they started as a fun and feel good way to promote brands that deserve extra recognition and also give credit to our home interiors suppliers, thank our wonderful clients and support our friends and contacts - most of whom are 'movers and shakers' and individuals who excel and make things happen. The winners of the previous ten awards include Herbert Ypma for HIP Hotels and associated HIP brands, international publisher and broadcaster Andrew Neil for best client, film producer Lisa Tchenguiz for 'The World Unseen', royal couturier Jacques Azagury for his work for HRH Diana, Princess of Wales, luxury brand PR Amanda Kyme for her work with Jimmy Choo and Jo Malone, celebrity hairdresser Charles Worthington and his partner Allan Peters for best hosts London & France, Shutters On The Beach in Los Angeles and Carolyn Quartermaine for her stunning hand painted textiles. When we realised how seriously the whole thing was being taken by the participants and saw the impact of the event, we decided to take the Awards to another level. The whole exercise is currently non profit making/non commercial. However, this year or next we are planning to introduce a charity fundraising element to the presentation dinner. In the meantime, a big THANKYOU to the fabulous new bar 'Tini' in Walton Street, London, for offering to host our pre Awards cocktail party....they don't know what they are letting themselves in for.
